YOGA Take part in a yoga warm up sessions every morning in preparation for your festival activities. Every morning 11am – 12pm lead by Noemi

CIRCUS WORKSHOP Every morning 12pm – 1pm. FARAFIGNA – leading a juggling and circus skills workshop.

SAMBA WORKSHOP There will be a music workshop teaching new Brazilian rhythms, lead by Maluko de Beko - samba musicians from Cordoba in Spain - 2pm-3pm every day.

ART in the PARK: 3 days of continuous workshops from 2pm - 5.30pm in St. John’s Sculpture Garden. International visitors and London hosts get together to create works for temporary exhibition in the sculpture garden and around the church.

 

POETRY in a TENT 3 afternoons of workshops creating poetry for t-shirts, website and installation throughout the festival.

FROM YOYOGI PARK Artists Misako Ichimura and Tetuo Ogawa who live in a Tent City in Tokyo will build a structure in the garden and run their art café ENOA-RU during the festival, serving tea, providing art materials and exhibiting work. Ichimura San will work with participants to create a temporary sculpture.

MEMORIAL SCULPTURE St. John’s and Southbank mosaics will unveil a series of mosaic seats built in the Sculpture Garden to commemorate the homeless who have died in and around st. John’s garden. 2 of these seats will be unveiled without decoration, and participants will be invited to decorate these with images and poetry during the festival to prepare them for mosaic.

PUERTA 21 BUILD A SOUTH AMERICAN ALTAR Visitors from the street paper HECHO EN BUENOS AIRES will create a temporary shrine to homeless art in the Buenos Aries style. Framework for the shrine will be created by project leaders in the run up to the festival. Additional work will be added during workshops on.

PODCASTING, AUDIO EDITING AND BLOGGING Over the three days of the festival we will show you how to create your own podcast - starting with how to use equipment, recording your story, editing and uploading to ten feet away international website.

THEATRE WORKSHOP Streets Alive Theatre company will lead a workshop on Friday afternoon 3pm - 5pm. More details to follow.

CYBER CAFÉ Led by Turnaround E1 and running every day. Internet access and basic training in image manipulation, audio processing and posting images on the web.

WHAKAPAI PHOTOBOOTH Get a professional quality digital photograph taken of yourself, you and your friends or an object you want photographed. Take your image to the CYBER CAFÉ to learn how to manipulate it, add a caption and/or prepare it to go up on the web or into the festival book.

DELLOW CENTRE INTERNATIONAL VOICES PROJECT This is a temporary audio visual installation created by Dellow Centre Arts participants, facilitated by artists Shiraz Bayjoo. The creators will be inviting people to give their perspective or experiences of the internationalisation of the homeless community in London using digital voice recording or photography.
