Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Streetwise Opera performs an excerpt of Critical Mass, a collaboration with Almeida Opera and The Shout.  This exciting work has brought together Streetwise performers and professional singers to create a compelling piece of music theatre. Devised by Composer Orlando Gough and director Emma Bernard, Critical Mass takes snatches of songs from the memories of the Streetwise Opera participants and The Shout as the raw material for a work that explores the tension between a vision of the future and a yearning for the past in the context of an international summit with a difference. Streetwise will be joined by members of The Shout for this performance.
