Welcome to Ten Feet Away international
This website provides a platform for artists around the world, mainly with a background of homelessness, to exchange experiences, art and information. How? Using blogs and podcasts. If you want to contribute to this website now you need to e-mail billy@tenfeetaway.org.
The idea behind the website is that some of the projects and dialogues that arise from this exchange are going to contribute to the International Festival 2007. Although the festival is still developing, there will be a forum where homeless ex-homeless people will have the opportunity to exchange thoughts, ideas and future projects in the arts.

Esta Web tiene como meta proveer un espacio en el cual personas que viven al margen de la sociedad se puedan expresar e intercambiar ideas con otras personas en situaciones similares pero en diferentes países. ¿Cómo? La idea detrás de este proyecto es que las voces de todas estas personas sean escuchadas en el Festival Internacional 2007 que tendrá lugar en Londres durante el mes de Julio. En este evento estamos planeando un simposio donde esperamos tener participantes de diferentes partes del mundo, ya sea físicamente o mediante video-conferencia.

Ce site internet a pour but d’offrir un espace d’expression aux artistes du monde entier vivant en marge de la societe, et de leur permettre de partager leurs experiences personnelles, leur art et leurs idees avec d’autres individus de philosophie similaire sur le reste du globe. L’idee derriere ce projet est de permettre a la voix de chacun d’etre entendue lors du festival international 2007 qui se deroulera en Juillet a Londres, et ou certains dialogues et resultats de cet echange seront presentes. Ce festival a pour espoir d’etablir un symposium, un congres permettant aux sans abris, anciens sans abris et individus vulnerables d’echanger leurs opinions, idees et future projets soit en personne, soit par l’intermediaire de video conference et de l’internet.
